Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Data Entry Clerk in the Health Insurance industry, located in Sterling Heights, Michigan. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be tasked with the responsibility of handling extensive data entry related to coordination of benefits, reviewing these benefits, and providing necessary assistance.
Responsibilities
Accurately process data related to coordination of benefits
Review coordination of benefits data for accuracy and completeness
Assist team members as needed with data entry tasks
Maintain high proficiency with computer systems and software
Use spreadsheet software to organize, analyze, and report data
Utilize knowledge of medical terminology in processing data
Ensure reliable, high-speed internet connectivity for efficient remote work
Operate company-provided equipment including laptop, docking station, monitor, keyboard, and mouse
Ensure all data entries are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements
Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role or relevant field.
Proficient in data entry tasks and able to maintain a high level of accuracy.
Expertise in using spreadsheet software for data manipulation and analysis.
Knowledge of medical terminology, particularly in the context of health insurance.
Demonstrated computer proficiency, including the use of industry-standard software and systems.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Capable of handling confidential information with discretion.
Proactive in identifying and resolving problems or discrepancies in data.
Willingness to learn new systems and adapt to changes in procedures.
Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
High school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in relevant fields are a plus.
