AI Operations Analyst
Make new AI systems actually stick. Train teams, catch workflow drift, and drive real adoption inside a remote-first consulting firm.
About the Role
You will be the person who makes new AI systems actually stick. A team is putting AI tools and workflows into production that change how real work gets done — and the hard part isn’t building them, it’s getting people to trust and use them. That’s your job. You sit with the teams every day, train people one at a time, and notice when a workflow has quietly drifted from what a tool assumes before it turns into a problem.
The company is a fully remote insurance and risk-advisory consulting firm that holds every client to an experienced-advisor standard. This seat lives in business operations and exists to keep that standard intact as AI gets woven into how the firm works.
It’s an early-career role, hired for how fast you learn and how much you own rather than a long resume. If you’re the type who taught yourself pivot tables, then a BI tool, then found a real use for an LLM — and you care more about solving the problem than mastering any one tool — this was built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Sit with the teams using the AI systems, watch how they really work, and answer the “can it do this?” questions in person
- Drive adoption one task and one person at a time through short trainings, side-by-side walkthroughs, and reference notes written in the team’s own language
- Track who is using what, where people get stuck, and what would move the next person off the fence
- Map the real workflow, catch where it has drifted from what the AI assumes, and flag it clearly before the output goes wrong
- Translate between the floor and leadership in both directions, in plain terms
- Operate and lightly extend the deployed tools, pull the numbers behind the analytics and AI applications, and escalate cleanly when something is past you
Qualifications
- 0 to 2 years in an operations, customer success, support, coordinator, or client-facing role
- Evidence you have already leaned into AI on your own — using ChatGPT or Claude in earnest, or building yourself an automation
- Basic data literacy: comfortable reading a report, asking whether a number looks right, and doing simple analysis when needed
- A knack for winning over people who are busy or skeptical, without making them feel dumb
- Comfort being the visible go-to person for a change rather than a behind-the-scenes helper
- Nice to have: consulting or professional-services background, experience training coworkers on a tool, or a track record of being first on your team to adopt something new
Why Join Us
This is a launch seat with a named path. You start owning adoption and feedback for the systems in front of you, then grow into an AI Program Manager who runs a portfolio of systems and teams and sets how the firm adopts AI. The growth is as much consulting and change management as it is technical.
You would join a remote-first firm that earns trust async and over time, where the work you do builds real capability inside the business instead of renting it.
