Job Overview

As an Appointment Scheduler at Rack Electric, you will play a key role in ensuring that our clients and service teams are seamlessly aligned. You will be responsible for scheduling and confirming appointments, managing service requests, and maintaining clear communication with customers and technicians. Key Responsibilities

Schedule appointments for technicians and clients, ensuring efficient allocation of time and resources.

Confirm and reschedule appointments as necessary, communicating with clients in a timely manner.

Respond to inbound calls, emails, or online inquiries to schedule service requests.

Maintain an up-to-date calendar and ensure no scheduling conflicts or overbookings.

Communicate directly with clients to confirm details and answer any pre-appointment questions.

Send appointment reminders and follow-ups to clients to ensure smooth service delivery.

Collaborate with the service team to manage technician availability and ensure timely arrival at appointments.

Keep accurate records of all appointments, cancellations, and changes in the system.

Provide exceptional customer service and address any concerns or issues related to scheduling.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed, including updating client information and managing service logs.

Requirements

Previous experience in customer service, scheduling, or administrative support (preferred but not required).

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Ability to manage time effectively and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Proficient in using scheduling software, email, and basic office tools (Google Calendar, Microsoft Outlook, etc.).

Comfortable working independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

Friendly and professional demeanor when interacting with clients and team members.

A quiet and distraction-free home office environment.

Reliable internet connection.

Preferred Skills

Experience with appointment scheduling software or CRM tools.

Prior experience in the electrical service or home improvement industry (a plus, but not required).

Typing speed of 40+ WPM with high accuracy.

Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
