Job Overview
We are looking for a Data Entry Specialist – Credit Dispute Specialist to join our remote team and support our credit reporting and dispute resolution operations. In this role, you’ll be responsible for accurately inputting, tracking, and updating credit dispute information while ensuring compliance with relevant consumer protection regulations.
This is a detail-oriented, process-driven position that plays a vital role in helping clients resolve inaccuracies on their credit reports.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and update client data, dispute details, and supporting documents into the CRM and dispute management systems
Review credit reports and identify errors, inconsistencies, or potentially inaccurate information
Prepare and format dispute letters to credit bureaus, creditors, and data furnishers
Track dispute statuses, deadlines, and responses according to FCRA timelines
Maintain accurate records of communications and outcomes for each case
Ensure compliance with Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) and company protocols
Communicate professionally with internal teams and escalate issues as needed
Meet daily and weekly productivity and accuracy benchmarks
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred
1+ year of data entry, administrative, or credit-related experience with credit cards/banking
Familiarity with credit reports,
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency with spreadsheets, data entry tools, and CRM systems
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
