Qualifications

- Minimum of one year of experience in data entry and/or transcription, either professionally or through internships/projects.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy when working with written information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and document editing tools.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and established processes effectively.
- Reliable internet connection and a quiet, dedicated home workspace.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly and discreetly.
Responsibilities
- Perform numeric data entry by inputting transactional records such as purchase orders, shipping manifests, and billing logs into the central database.
- Verify data integrity through cross-checking source documents to ensure accuracy.
- Convert audio recordings, including interviews, lectures, and focus groups, into written transcripts following established style guidelines.
- Edit transcripts for grammar, punctuation, and formatting before final delivery to ensure clarity and professionalism.
- Facilitate client onboarding sessions via video or chat to capture project scope, specific formatting preferences, and turnaround expectations.
- Document client preferences and project details within our CRM system to maintain consistency and clarity across teams.
- Manage workflow assignments using project management tools such as Trello, Jira, or Monday.com, including monitoring milestones and sending reminders.
- Perform quality assurance checks on spreadsheets and transcripts, aiming for at least 98% accuracy, and flag recurring issues for process improvement.
- Generate weekly status reports summarizing completed tasks, upcoming deadlines, and potential obstacles, and communicate updates to clients as needed.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and create training materials, such as short videos or slide decks, to support onboarding and cross-training efforts.
