The Opportunity
As a Data Scientist, you will join a growing AI & Data team supporting large-scale government programmes. You’ll work closely with clients and project teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, develop interactive dashboards and support strategic decision-making through advanced analytics. Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Visualisation
- Design and develop data visualisation solutions and dashboards using Power BI
- Collect, clean, validate and analyse data from multiple sources
- Identify trends, patterns and opportunities within complex datasets
- Develop reporting solutions that provide meaningful business and operational insights
- Create additional visualisation and analytical capabilities to meet evolving client needs
Data Management & Quality
- Perform data validation, quality assurance and remediation activities
- Ensure data governance standards and best practices are maintained
- Support data integrity and compliance initiatives
- Optimise data structures and reporting processes
Business Analysis & Process Improvement
- Analyse current operational processes and identify improvement opportunities
- Support business process transformation initiatives
- Document findings, recommendations and improvement plans
- Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions
Client & Stakeholder Engagement
- Organise and facilitate client meetings and workshops
- Prepare agendas, meeting documentation and action trackers
- Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
- Develop reports, briefings and executive-level presentations
- Support project delivery and stakeholder communications
About You
You’ll be an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a passion for using data to solve complex business problems.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Consulting or Project Management
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
Preferred Experience
- tive DHS Public Trust clearance
- Experience within government, homeland security or law enforcement environments
- Strong Power BI dashboard development skills
- Experience using R for statistical analysis and data processing
- Business analysis and process improvement experience
- Experience developing training materials and documentation
- Knowledge of federal compliance and operational environments
