The Opportunity

As a Data Scientist, you will join a growing AI & Data team supporting large-scale government programmes. You’ll work closely with clients and project teams to transform complex datasets into actionable insights, develop interactive dashboards and support strategic decision-making through advanced analytics. Key Responsibilities

  • Data Analysis & Visualisation
  • Design and develop data visualisation solutions and dashboards using Power BI
  • Collect, clean, validate and analyse data from multiple sources
  • Identify trends, patterns and opportunities within complex datasets
  • Develop reporting solutions that provide meaningful business and operational insights
  • Create additional visualisation and analytical capabilities to meet evolving client needs

Data Management & Quality

  • Perform data validation, quality assurance and remediation activities
  • Ensure data governance standards and best practices are maintained
  • Support data integrity and compliance initiatives
  • Optimise data structures and reporting processes

Business Analysis & Process Improvement

  • Analyse current operational processes and identify improvement opportunities
  • Support business process transformation initiatives
  • Document findings, recommendations and improvement plans
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement data-driven solutions

Client & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Organise and facilitate client meetings and workshops
  • Prepare agendas, meeting documentation and action trackers
  • Present findings and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Develop reports, briefings and executive-level presentations
  • Support project delivery and stakeholder communications

About You

You’ll be an analytical and detail-oriented professional with a passion for using data to solve complex business problems.

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Data Analytics, Data Science, Consulting or Project Management
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Experience working with large and complex datasets

Preferred Experience

  • tive DHS Public Trust clearance
  • Experience within government, homeland security or law enforcement environments
  • Strong Power BI dashboard development skills
  • Experience using R for statistical analysis and data processing
  • Business analysis and process improvement experience
  • Experience developing training materials and documentation
  • Knowledge of federal compliance and operational environments
