Data Scientist – Remote Job USA

We’re hiring a Data Scientist for a fully remote role with a leading Information Technology client, building AI-enabled capabilities at scale. You’ll partner with business, technical, and operational stakeholders to turn analysis into action — designing extraction models, entity resolution layers, and agent-driven search.

Responsibilities

• Design and build extraction and classification models for document processing
• Develop and enhance entity resolution and signal detection layers
• Define AI capabilities for recommendations, agents, and search functionality
• Own models, pipelines, and graph structures within the product
• Collaborate directly with engineering, product, and customers to solve complex problems
• Ensure model accuracy meets contractual SLAs tied to significant dollar exposure
• Drive ownership of model quality and pipeline reliability in customer outcomes

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science, applied ML, or AI research with production experience
• Strong statistical foundation for defining and evaluating AI success metrics
• Deep experience with NLP, NLU, or document understanding models
• Intuition for entity resolution and knowledge graph construction
• Proficiency in Python and modern AI frameworks for production deployment
• Comfort with information extraction and classification in enterprise settings
• Proven cross-functional collaboration skills in engineering and product teams
• Clear communication skills for technical discussions with non-technical stakeholders
