What You’ll Actually Be Doing
As the Remote Data Entry professional, you’ll be the person keeping the company’s records clean, current, and dependable. Real accuracy here directly supports how smoothly the whole operation runs.
- Enter data accurately from customer orders, supplier invoices, and internal paperwork into company databases
- Keep existing records updated and correct as new information comes in
- Run regular quality checks to catch and fix errors before they cause problems downstream
- Organize and prep source documents so they’re ready for entry
- Put together reports and manage electronic filing as needed
- Handle sensitive company and customer information with discretion
- Coordinate with the wider team to keep workflow moving without bottlenecks
What They’re Looking For
- Prior experience in data entry or a similar administrative position
- Fast, accurate typing with a sharp eye for detail
- Comfortable in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Familiarity with data management systems and databases
- Strong self-management — this role requires working independently with minimal supervision
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- A high standard of integrity around confidential information
Pay & Compensation
