About the Role

Hyatt is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join its Data Science and Decision Science team. This is a high-impact position where your work in machine learning, data analysis, and operations research will directly shape strategic decisions, improve operational efficiency, and elevate the guest experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop advanced machine learning models addressing revenue management, customer segmentation, and operational efficiency
• Collaborate with marketing, operations, and IT teams to identify data-driven improvement opportunities
• Clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets to extract meaningful business insights
• Build predictive models to forecast trends and customer behaviors
• Present complex findings to non-technical stakeholders through clear reports and presentations
• Stay current with the latest advancements in data science and AI to keep solutions innovative

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, analytics, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with large datasets, cloud platforms, and data visualization tools is a plus
