Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Strategic Project Lead, Law (J.D.) to work on a full-time basis. This professional will oversee the design and execution of workflows that structure, optimize, and manage large-scale data pipelines for top AI lab customers, with a strong focus on domain-specific experts in legal. The successful candidate will ensure the highest standards in data integrity, scalability, and quality, and will manage a team of talented domain experts to train frontier AI models. Key Responsibilities:
- Own projects end to end, ensuring top AI lab clients are extremely happy with the delivery of high-quality data pipelines and expertly managed workflows.
- Manage and optimize complex, domain-specific data pipelines, improving efficiency, accuracy, and scalability to meet the evolving needs of AI lab customers.
- Lead and manage teams of human data managers and leads reviewing the work of subject-matter experts in legal, providing guidance and expertise to ensure data integrity and quality.
- Communicate directly with top AI labs on massive, high-impact projects, ensuring clear understanding of project requirements and delivering results that meet or exceed client expectations.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of data pipeline management, leveraging expertise in law and project management to drive innovation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in project management, with a strong background in law (J.D.) and a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex data pipelines.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide teams of domain experts to achieve high-quality results.
- Strong understanding of data operations and human data management, with experience in designing and executing workflows that optimize data integrity, scalability, and quality.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including AI lab customers, domain experts, and internal teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data pipelines and develop innovative solutions to drive process improvements.
