In this role you lead strategy and communication for an assigned book of SEO clients. It’s a mix of client-facing strategy, reporting and quality control.
What you’ll be doing
- Leading client communication and SEO strategy for the accounts you’re assigned.
- Checking campaign work for quality, both the first round and the recurring tasks. That covers optimizations, link building, review responses, blog posts, social posts, reports and other client deliverables.
- Working with the SEO Specialists to finish account work and coordinate what gets said to clients.
- Running strategy and reporting calls, and bringing practical suggestions that improve each campaign.
What you need, and what’s a bonus
Required
- At least 1 year of SEO experience.
- Close attention to detail, strong written and spoken communication, and a habit of hitting deadlines.
- Basic HTML and CSS.
- Comfort in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
- Experience with SEO and site auditing tools, including Screaming Frog.
- Excellent content writing and editing.
- Google Analytics and data analysis skills.
Preferred
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent industry experience.
- Local SEO experience.
- Confidence talking with car dealers.
- PR and outreach experience.
- Experience leading or working with international teams.
