Make $2868 per Month. How to start a print on demand business that can generate thousands of dollars in passive income make sure to watch until the end because I’m going to share with you the tools and the tricks that you need and by the end of this you’ll learn how to create your own t-shirts that you can start selling right away
So let’s dive into the world of make money online check this out this t-shirt made over $35,000 last month they started selling it only 6 months ago and launched their shop just 16 months ago we’re talking about one 1 year and 4 months and check out the simple design t-shirt too it’s literally just simple text and it made almost $3,000 last month it was listed for sale just 6 months ago and what’s more interesting is that the store is only 8 months old this means they probably started making money the next month after they launched the shop all right the first thing we want to do is start by doing some research
We will do that on Etsy because it’s a lucrative place to start a print on demand store if we look at the Analytics you can see that the total visitors in the last month alone were 45.5 million making Etsy an attractive platform for this business model to start our research we’ll use an extension to help us click the link in the description to top on this page. Begin by creating an account click Etsy Pakistan – Shop for handmade, vintage, custom, and unique gifts for everyone sign up for free it will take you to a page where you need to provide your information name and email choose a password and click sign up just like that we’ve created our account now it will ask you to install the everbee extension into your browser click the add to Chrome button it will take you to the web store where you can install the extension in my case I’ll head over to my everbee account because I want to use the keyword research tool here is the dashboard on the left side in the research tools I will go to the keyword research tool the volume shows the average monthly searches for that keyword and the competition metric tells us how many listings are competing for it for example the keyword gifts has over 42 million listings the keyword score is what we want to focus on because it shows the ratio between search volume and competition a higher score means it’s easier to rank for that keyword and a lower score means it’s harder in this case the score is zero which makes sense since you’re competing with over 42 million listings on Etsy right now the keywords are sorted by volume which you can see so with that in mind let’s proceed with the research choosing a niche is up to you and what you like because there is something to sell in almost any Niche once you choose the niche then you can proceed with finding the sub Niche for me I’ll probably choose a niche for women or both genders I’ll go to chat GPT ChatGPT | OpenAI and ask for five t-shirt niches for women you can ask for more but I’ll just ask for five so I’ll tell it give me five print on demand niches for women and it will suggest five niches I think I’ll go with the health and wellness Niche then then I’ll ask it to give me 10 Search keywords around that Niche by saying give me 10 keywords on the health and wellness Niche for women all right I’m going to copy the body positivity keyword and head over to the keyword research tool I’ll paste it into the search bar and hit search as you can see this keyword has a good search volume over 2,000 monthly searches and low competition which explains its high score so I’ll just click on it to copy it and go to Etsy I’ll paste it into the search bar keeping it as is an adding shirt at the end you can browse through and see the current bestselling shirts for that specific word some have positive messages or quotes and some have designs or both since we already know this is a good keyword to rank for we’ll go with one of those designs that already ranks on Etsy by scrolling I can see those simple t-shirts with this handwritten type font are doing really well they have a lot of positive reviews and you can see they’re all from different stores so I think this design is really good I’ll make something similar for the designing process we’ll be using
Kittl https://bit.ly/3Xuumid for a couple of reasons, one of the reasons is it’s easy to use and create designs and they’re constantly adding new features and tools secondly it will help us create those mockups for our design where we can upload later to Etsy so with Kittl you have everything in one place you can start from scratch we’re not starting from scratch there are already tons of templates on the homepage to choose from I’ll click on the cute t-shirt template since it looks pretty close to what we want to create scroll down and you’ll start to see some ideas forming those handwritten fonts are similar to what we saw on Etsy so I think this one here is a good starting point let’s click on that as I mentioned earlier looks like they’ve just added a new feature called brand styles to maintain brand consistency that sounds like a very handy feature and I’ll make sure to check it out later speak about new features I want to share with you this super handy feature the Eraser tool this will help you remove elements you don’t want in your image for example let me show you how I went from this picture to this picture as you can see I just erased this flower stem first I searched for flowers in the images tool and drag this image to my project I scaled it up and while it’s selected you can see the Eraser tool icon at the top after choosing that you can just left click and remove anything you want after removing the element I wanted all that’s left is fixing the background I went to the elements section and added a square to the project then adjusted its size from the layers panel you can reorder the layers and put the square behind the image after that I changed its color using the eyedropper tool picking the color from the original image you can group them together and that’s it all right here is editable starting with colors you can see all the project colors right here just hover over them and pick anyone to change its color and if you mess up no worries just hit the undo Arrow also on the left side in the tools panel you can find Elements by clicking on the elements icon for example let’s search for flowers and expand the window to see what we’ve got we want something similar to those Etsy designs more like an icon so let’s add an icon and see all right these elements are perfect for the vibe we’re aiming for if you find anything you like for example let’s say this one you can just click on it and add it to your design now I can go ahead and close this window like so to change its color and size I’ll select it and adjust its size here and for the color I just need to click right here if I want to match its color to the other flowers I can simply use the eyedropper tool and pick the color another handy feature that will save you time and money is the mockup option at the top right here if you click on it you’ll be able to preview how your design will look on any mockup you can browse through different mockup choices change the size and position of the design and even adjust the color of the mockup from here you can download this mockup picture by clicking right here then upload it to your store you’ll probably do that when you finish for now I’ll just click back to editor since we didn’t create the project from scratch we didn’t get the option to choose the artboard size to make sure we’re choosing the right size I’ll just open the main K Page by clicking on the K icon here it will open a new window and from here I’ll create a new project I’ll click on new project then another window will open this pop-up window will ask me to choose the artboard size we’re creating a print OnDemand t-shirt to Market and sell on Etsy but the printing phase will be handled by printify
(Printify Drop Shipping & Printing Service for E-commerce) so I’ll scroll down and choose the T-shirt printify preset by clicking on it and then click create all right first things first always start by renaming your project so you can find it easily later on I’ll adjust the zoom level to fit the artboard nicely now I’ll select all of my design elements like this and copy them next I’ll navigate back to the T-shirt artboard I just created and paste everything here it’s a bit challenging to place it in the middle but if I use the position adjusting tool it will mess up the design instead I’ll right click on the design and group them then I’ll Center them vertically and horizontally like so after doing that I can ungroup them to edit them separately and they’re perfectly centered right now I’m not going to spend much time crafting this design so I’ll just edit the text for example let me change this quote I like how the words find and piece are bigger in size and the your inner text completes the meaning so how about changing the word find to love to do that I’ll just double click on it on the right side you have the option to change the text properties like the font and its size in my case I’ll just type in love and replace your inner with your body and add always all right I like that the words just overlap a bit I can always change the position of each element separately that’s why we ungrouped them earlier I can keep tweaking this design but for now I’ll show you the next steps once you finished creating Your Design you need to download it let me first make it bigger like this select it all group it scale it up like this and then reenter it by clicking here and here now just click the download button make sure the file type is PNG and also turn on the remove background option because we only want the design to be printed on the shirts then click download and it will download to your hard drive you can navigate to your drive and locate it as you can see the background is transparent now that we finished the design of course you can create many other designs in one project by creating multiple artboards check my previous video to know how to do that but for now let’s move to printify and I’ll tell you how to upload your design and connect printify to your Etsy store as I mentioned before printify is a print on demand service that allows you to design custom products like t-shirts hoodies and more it integrates with various e-commerce platforms including Etsy to automate the printing and shipping process. it’s a straightforward process in my case I’ll just log into my account after creating an account and logging in your dashboard will look like this it’s a simple and easy to navigate dashboard on the left you have all the labels you need right here they display all their best sellers and you can see t-shirts and hoodies are among the top ones now I will tell you how to connect your Etsy store to printify the right way on the left side click on my new store from the drop- down menu click on add a new store from here choose Etsy and click connect a new window will pop up asking you to sign in your Etsy store to continue let me do that and just like that it’s telling me I connected an Etsy store you can see right here it says my Etsy store is connected the first thing you need to do is set up the store to do that click on my Etsy store and then manage my stores right here you can see all the stores that you have connected to printify to adjust the settings of any store just click on the gear icon next to it right here you can change the name of your store to match your brand because this is what will be printed on the shipping labels from the print providers then click save for the ship address you can just leave it as the printify default address next we have the order settings the first option is order routing you can see right here it says this feature automatically routes eligible orders to the most suitable alternative print provider if applicable so basically if your preferred print provider is out of stock for a specific item printify will automatically switch the order to an alternative print provider it’s usually better to leave this option off so you can have control over which provider handles your orders now let’s talk about order approval this is where the automation happens when someone places an order on your Etsy store you can choose when the orders get approved so printify can start printing the item by default it’s set to approve automatically after 24 hours but it’s actually a good idea to choose the option orders approved at a specific time every day this makes the process automatic but also gives you a bit of control this way you know that every day at that specific time the orders will get approved if you need to make changes or check the orders before they’re approved you have the chance to do that so pick a time that works best for you for tracking notifications keep it set to receive as soon as it is available this way you’ll get updates on the shipping status right away lastly there’s the option for delayed orders it says send delayed orders to production automatically it’s better to choose this option so that if something is out of stock it will automatically send the orders to production once it’s available again the last option is for email notifications if you want to get updated on your orders via email you can choose to enable this it’s up to you then click save all right those are some essential settings you need to set up now let me show you how to upload your designs to printify first I will click on the dashboard you can choose any item from the best sellers or you can click on catalog and choose the one that fits your Niche for example in my case I’m going to choose a women’s t-shirt from here you can choose your targeted Market I will leave it as the USA for example let’s say I want to go with this unisex garment dyed t-shirt click on it and at the bottom you can choose your print provider you can see their overall rating location pricing colors sizes they provide and other information including the production time let’s say I want to proceed with Monster Digital I will just click on start designing and it will take you to the design editor on the left side you have all the tools you can create a design here or upload one since we already have a design just click on upload and navigate to your design file or you can just drag it in like so and it will start uploading now it’s getting added to the library and voila that looks beautiful you have other options to tweak your design if needed you can take a tour to get familiar with the editor you can click preview to see how your shirt is going to look and you can click on this icon to add more color options to see what works better with your design colors finally you can click save and just like that great job we created our first product you can order a sample to check it before starting to sell it or publish it in my case I will just close this window you can go to my products and right here you can find the t-shirt that we just created you can click on its name to edit other options like its title and description which are very important just scroll up to edit right here is where you can change the listing image and the listing details you can go to Etsy or everbee and see the top selling T-shirts to start collecting
Thanks
