About the Role

Careerscape is recruiting on behalf of a growing residential property management company for an entry-level Project Manager to join fully remotely. This is a strong entry point for someone early in a real estate or hospitality career who wants to build a foundation in property operations, tenant relations, and lease administration alongside an experienced, supportive team.

Day-to-day work includes tenant communication, lease paperwork, maintenance coordination, and light bookkeeping — all handled from a home office. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, and comfortable juggling multiple priorities while keeping owners and residents happy.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to tenant inquiries via phone, email, and online portal
• Coordinate maintenance requests with vendors and contractors
• Process lease renewals, applications, and move-in/move-out paperwork
• Track rent payments and follow up on delinquencies
• Maintain accurate records in property management software
• Assist with marketing vacant units and scheduling virtual tours
• Prepare monthly owner reports summarizing occupancy and expenses
• Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and local rental regulations
• Support the senior property management team with admin tasks
• Help resolve tenant concerns and escalate issues as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate/bachelor’s degree preferred
• Prior customer service, admin, or hospitality experience is helpful
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Comfortable with property management software (AppFolio, Yardi)
• Ability to multitask and stay organized remotely
• Basic understanding of lease agreements a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Self-motivated with a reliable home internet connection
• Willingness to obtain state property management/real estate licensing if required
