About this remote Compliance Analyst job

Clipboard runs an app-based marketplace that connects healthcare professionals with the workplaces that need them. It’s a remote-first company of over 1,000 people, founded in 2016 and backed by Y Combinator, and it says it has been profitable since 2022. The company is best known for long-term care staffing and is growing into home health and hospitals.

As the Documents Compliance Analyst (listed as Compliance Analyst), you own the decisions behind whether a worker can go on shift. That means background check disqualifications, credential and risk review, and how new state requirements get put into practice. The law is a given. How Clipboard meets it is your call.

It isn’t a people-management job, and you report to the Head of the Documents Team. You’ll work with agents, subject matter experts, team leads and Legal, but none of them report to you. That means people follow your lead because your reasoning holds up, not because of your title. If you want one of the Remote Jobs USA that rewards careful thinking over speed, this is a good fit.

Home setup and pay

Clipboard lists system requirements, so check them before you apply: a wired internet connection of at least 15 Mbps, an i5 processor or equivalent, 12 GB RAM, a dedicated quiet workspace, and a reliable power source plus backup internet.

The compensation range is $90K to $110K a year. The listing doesn’t include benefits, so ask about them in the first call. One more note from the company: it says it never asks candidates for money or bank details during hiring, so treat any message that does as a scam.

How to apply: use the Clipboard application page below. A resume that shows real regulatory decisions you’ve made will do more than a list of tools. Add one short example of a hard call you made with incomplete information and how you documented it.
